About this place
The appeal of KollaBo lies in bringing table-grilled meats together with recipes inherited directly from established, well-known restaurants across South Korea. The meat lineup is thoroughly satisfying, featuring LA galbi marinated in a savory house sauce that lets diners gnaw every bit of flavor from around the bone, as well as pork belly samgyeopsal steeped in wine marinade and lightly smoked. For a livelier kick, the jukkumi samgyeopsal tosses tender webfoot octopus and pork belly in a sweet-and-spicy sauce; wrap it in fresh greens as you eat, then finish by having flying fish roe fried rice mixed right on the hot grill plate.
Beyond the centerpiece meats, the kitchen turns out a generous variety of à la carte specialties. Diners can order thick, crispy seafood pancakes loaded with ingredients, comforting dak-galbi blanketed in melted cheese, or gentle seollongtang simmered patiently from beef bones. To accompany the food, there is bowl-poured makgeolli—an ideal partner for savory pancakes—as well as Korean soju labels like Chamisul, draft beer, and highballs, all well matched to spicy sauces and hearty seasonings.
At midday, set lunches offer a practical option, arriving with salad, kimchi, and rotating side dishes. Individual diners can easily tailor a meal to their mood, whether they want the warming broth of a seollongtang set, a bubbling sundubu-jjigae flavored with shrimp and oysters, or a chilled bowl of refreshing mul-naengmyeon.
Perched on the 5th floor of Aqua City Odaiba, the dining room looks out over Tokyo's bay area, making it an easy place to linger over a meal. The spacious interior is fitted with ample table seating and operates without an afternoon break from 11:00 to 23:00, accommodating shoppers taking a midday break, friends gathering for drinks, or unhurried dinners framed by night views across the water.
